Comfortable and healthy sleep

A comfortable and healthy sleep is the key to vigor, good mood and a productive day.
As you may have already guessed, today we will talk about the right choice of furniture for sleep.
Specifically about choosing the right bed. There are basic four types of beds (based on their width): single, twin, double and family. The length of the bed varies from 160 cm to 220 cm on average. It is correct to choose the length of the bed according to this formula: The height of the person who will sleep on it + 30 cm. Therefore, the most standard length is considered to be 200 cm. Let's take a closer look at the dimensions of the bed, starting from its width. So: 1) Single beds: the standard width of the sleeping place of single beds: 70, 80 or 90 cm. Most often these are beds in the nursery.
This width is quite enough for a comfortable sleep of a child. 2) Semi-double beds: from 100 to 135 cm. An ideal choice for a teenager's room. But two adults on such a bed will be cramped. 3) Double bed: from 140 to 180 cm. The most popular option is a double bed with a width of 160 cm. 4) Family beds - 180 to 200 cm. On such a bed there is enough space for everyone.
To correctly determine the width of the bed, start from the number of people who will sleep on it and, of course, the size of the room. Remember that it is better to decide on the size of the bed before the start of the repair. Since it is better to initially correctly place sockets and switches in the bedside area, to determine the location of sconces, etc., than later remake and replay. Well, of course, sweet sleep depends not only on the width and length of the bed, but also (first of all!) on a properly selected, high-quality orthopedic mattress. But that's another story
